Standards that protect the scene and the people in it.
Tallahassee City Roleplay keeps its rules simple on purpose. The goal is not to bury players in text. It is to create a server where scenes stay believable, people understand the standard, and staff can keep the city moving without confusion.
Respect ongoing scenes
Do not force yourself into every interaction. Let scenes develop naturally and give others room to contribute.
Keep actions believable
Character choices, reactions, and outcomes should fit the situation instead of breaking immersion for quick wins.
Use common sense
If something would obviously damage the quality of the roleplay around you, stop and take the better route.
Follow staff direction
When moderation steps in, respond quickly and calmly so the situation can be resolved without dragging out the problem.
Do not scene ruin
Random disruption, constant trolling, and careless actions that derail roleplay will not help you here.
Keep communication respectful
Whether you are in game or in Discord, the baseline is the same: talk to people like you want the community to last.
Value consequences
Bad decisions should feel like bad decisions. Treat injuries, losses, and outcomes like they actually matter to your character.
Do not chase win-only roleplay
The goal is not to force every scene in your favor. Good roleplay matters more than trying to win every interaction.
Drive and respond realistically
Vehicle behavior, scene reactions, and emergency responses should fit the situation instead of becoming chaos for no reason.
Do not abuse outside information
Keep in-character knowledge and out-of-character knowledge separate so scenes stay fair and believable for everyone involved.
Respect staff time
If an issue needs moderation, explain it clearly and let staff resolve it without dragging the entire community into the problem.
Help the city feel alive
Bring effort to your scenes, support the people around you, and contribute to the kind of server you would want to return to.
Rule changes and announcements are posted through Discord.
